Jillian has worked in the pet industry since 2020. She was drawn to the industry because it allows her the best of worlds, meeting new clients and getting to love on all the pets! Jillian graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Animal Sciences, and a double minor with one in Captive Wild Animal Management and one in Psychology. She loves working at Kennelwood “because of the amazing team environment and all of the wonderful people I get to see every day! My favorite/most rewarding part of the job is when nervous or shy pets come to stay with us because throughout their stay you get to watch them open up to everyone and see their true happy go lucky personalities.” Her personal pets include a Miniature Poodle, an Aussiedoodle, a cat, five Axolotls and a Leopard Gecko. In her free time, Jillian likes to spend time with her friends and family, enjoying the outdoors hiking and camping, or settling down with a good book!
