Kathryn first joined the Kennelwood team in day camp and customer service in 2023. While working she furthered her love for dogs and found her calling in training. She was accepted into the Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Trainers, which she graduated from in 2024.
Kathryn has two personal dogs of her own. In her free time loves to go on hikes or train for sports with her dogs! Kathryn’s dog, Honey, a Mountain Cur mix, is her sweet little cuddle bug, and they love learning new tricks! Kathryn’s other dog, Brooks, is a German Shepherd who she plans to compete in Protection Sports Association with. He also enjoys doing search and rescue training as well as specific scent detection.
Kathryn’s favorite part about dog training is seeing the way it can evolve and grow a dog’s relationship with their owner in their everyday life.
