Junior Pet Care Winter Camp

Winter Camp is Hosted at the Kennelwood Learning Center

Registration for Winter Camp will open on October 7th, 2024 at 9:30AM. 

Each of the sessions are held 8am – 3pm
Campers need to bring a sack lunch
$100 per child/per date or $350 for all 4 dates.

Pet Care Winter Camp Sessions & Dates:
Vet Care Session – Monday, December 30th
Dog Training Session & NYE Party– Tuesday, December 31st
No Session on Wednesday, January 1st
Grooming Session – Thursday, January 2nd 2025

Winter Camp Dates:
Each date is designed to offer a unique and memorable experience. Choose your date based on your child’s interests or register for all 4 dates and receive a discount.

Vet Care Session – Monday, December 30th
Campers will step into the world of pet heath and wellbeing, learning about basic pet health care, first aid, and what it takes to keep pets healthy. They’ll engage in hands-on activities, enjoy crafts and learn helpful pet care tips.

Dog Training Session & NYE Party – Tuesday, December 31st
Celebrate the New Year with your furry friends! In this session, campers will learn essential dog training techniques, from basic commands to fun tricks from our professional Kennelwood Dog Trainers.  The day will culminate in a festive New Year’s Eve party, complete with a tennis ball drop for our canine assistants and a special treat for each camper.

Grooming Session – Thursday, January 2nd, 2025
Kids will discover the art of pet grooming, learning about brushing, bathing, and maintaining a pet’s coat. Campers will participate in grooming activities, such as brushing and ear cleaning, and even get to practice on a friendly dog.

Animal Advocate Session – Friday, January 3rd, 2025
This session focuses on how kids can become animal advocates. Campers will explore ways to help pets in need, learn about pet adoption, and participate in activities that promote kindness and compassion towards animals.

Please note, a child can only be released from class to the adult(s) authorized for pick-up below.    A valid photo-ID will be required to confirm this information at pick-up.     Please list anyone who is authorized to pick up your child from camp. Medication Administration

If your child carries an epi-pen for a food allergy, or requires medication to be on hand during class hours for a medical condition, this must be noted below in order for your child to attend class. You are responsible for bringing the epi-pen/medication to the class leader at sign-in each day of camp that your child attends. Medications will be stored out of reach of children during camp hours.
