Kennelwood Pet Resorts Dog Trainer’s Present:
•Agility Course Fun– All dogs are welcome to give the course a try! Jumps, weave poles, tunnels and more are sure to be fun obstacles for our four-legged friends. Our Trainers will help you and your pup through the agility course. Bring your dog by and give the course a try!
•Does Your Dog Have What it Takes? – A Canine Good Citizen test simulation. Is your dog up for the challenge? Our Trainers will take you and your dog through a mock AKC Canine Good Citizen test to see if your pup has what it takes. The test simulation consists of the following:
1. Accepting a friendly stranger.
2. Sitting politely for petting.
3. Appearance and Grooming.
4. Out for a walk.
5. Walking through a crowd.
6. Sit and down on command/Staying in place.
7. Coming when called.
8. Reaction to another dog.
9. Reaction to distractions.
10. Supervised separation.
• Dog Demonstrations – The Kennelwood Training Team will showcase obedience training, tricks, dogs on treadmills and much more throughout the day in our Training Showcase space. Stop by and checkout what these fantastic K9’s can do! Ask your training questions and maybe even learn a pet trick our two.
• Free Training Evaluations – Have you ever wanted to have your personal Dog Training Guru? Well here’s your chance! Take advantage of a 10 minute session with one of Personal Dog Trainers to discuss your pets behaviors and your training goals. Our Professional Dog Trainer will help you decide the best training path for you and your furry family member.
