Jack Amato

Jack began his professional Training career in 2021 at the Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. Since Jack was young, he had a love for and interest in all types of animals. With degrees in Communication and English from the University of Denver, Jack knew he was still seeking his true passion. Since graduating from the Kennelwood Academy his dreams of finding his true passion have come true.

“I love working at Kennelwood not only because of my amazing training partner Brandi, but because the whole team is truly remarkable. From the groomers, to the day camp staff and receptionists, their efforts and expertise in the tasks they conquer everyday is what makes Kennelwood feel like home”

Jack has quite the list of personal pets, including 5 dogs, 2 cats, and a snake. His dogs include an Australian Kelpie named Mya, a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix named Tony, a Cattle Dog named April, a German Shepherd named Koda, and a Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix named Walker. Jack’s cats are Gizmo and Arya. And not to be forgotten, Bilbo the ball pythons. Jack is interested in both protection and obedience with his dogs and  hopes to compete in PSA in the future.

In his free time, you’ll find Jack training his dogs (of course), snowboarding, building Legos, on hiking adventures with his dogs, or off on trips to cool places.
