Kennelwood Pet Resorts is eager to bring back this guest holiday favorite, photos with Santa! Due to the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 and Delta variant, we are proceeding cautiously but hopeful this years Santa photo plans will move forward as planned. Because we cannot predict the future, we ask that you carefully read all of the details below regarding these photo events.
Possible 2021 Changes to Santa Photo Procedures:
As we continue to watch the ever evolving CDC safety guidelines for navigating COVID and the Delta variant, we hope to provide as much of a “normal” Santa photo experience as we can. Below are some possible scenarios or conditions that might need to be implemented in order to keep everyone safe this year. We share these only to paint a full picture of possible changes that could impact your Santa photo experience and to be up front with our guests to help them make the best possible decision for their family’s participation in this photo event.
Kennelwood will confirm, via email, any and all necessary requirements the week of each photo shoot, however keep in mind things could always change the day of.
- Customers might need to wait in their vehicle until called in for their appointment time.
- Customers might be required to wear a mask in their photo or sit/stand farther away from Santa.
- Customers (people not pets) might not be allowed in the photos this year – if choosing to have Santa in your pet’s photo.
- Photos might be held outside in the parking lot or in outdoor DayCamp yards. We’d plan to have heaters and a tent, but this would be weather dependent as well.
