It’s not uncommon for dogs to have a hard time adjusting when Pet Parents bring a new baby home. Our Baby Steps program shows you step by step how to start the process of introducing a baby into the household, starting before the homecoming and taking you all the way through the proper techniques to safely introduce your pet to your newborn baby. Most pet problems that accompany the new arrival in your home can be eliminated with knowledge and a little preliminary work.

The major topics covered include:

  • Identifying and assessing problem behaviors before they become a safety issue
  • Acclimating the pet to the sights, sounds and smells of the new arrival
  • The introduction process itself
  • Identifying childhood developmental stages that can cause canine behavior problems and how to deal with them
