Q: What vaccinations are required for my dog to board at Kennelwood?

A: In order to board your dog at Kennelwood Pet Resorts the following vaccinations are required:
*Rabies
*Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para Influenza, Parvo (DHLPP)
Bordatella
*notes vaccines regularly administered at check ups

Q: What vaccinations are required for my cat to board at Kennelwood?

A: In order to board your cat at Kennelwood Pet Resorts the following vaccinations are required: *Rabies
*Feline Distemper, Rhinotrachitis, Calici (FVCRP)

Q: Can I bring my dog’s food, toys and blanket during the stay at Kennelwood?

A: One of the great ammenities of our deluxe accomodations is that you can bring items from home. Feel free to bring your dog's favorite toy or blanket and we welcome owner's food & treats.

Q: What activities are available for pets to participate in while staying at Kennelwood?

A: DayCamp. DayCamp is for spayed or neutered, dog friendly dogs to get exercise and socialization in organized playgroups with other pets of the same size and temperment.
Personalized Playtime. Available for dogs and cats is Personalized Playtime. This is a 10 minute session with a Pet Activities Counselor. Sessions are individual, so you can help design your pet's fun! Guests may order as many sessions for their pet as they like.
Board n’ Train. This is an opportunity for one of our Kennelwood professionals to train your dog during the day by day and have your pet enjoy one of our first class resorts at night. We handle all of the training and care 24 hours a day. Your pet will learn on leash the basic commands including - climb, come, sit and down.

Q: What time is check out from Kennelwood?

A: Each location has a set check out time, just like a hotel-usually around the noon hour. After that time, an additional charge will be added to the account. Scheduling your pet for a last day grooming appointment will waive these additional charges and allow you flexibility in picking up. Our locations have convenient business hours and also offer after hours service for a fee. Please contact your nearest Kennelwood location for specific hours or see our website at www.kennelwood.com.

Q: Can my dog be trained while boarding at Kennelwood?

A: Board n’ Train is available and is a great opportunity to let one of our Kennelwood professionals train your dog during the day and board him at one of our first class facilities at night. We handle all of the training and care-taking 24 hours a day. Your pet will learn the on leash commands of climb, come, sit and down.

Q: If my pet needs medication, can you give it to him during a stay?

A: Yes, we have staff who can give medication to your pet just like you do at home. There is an additional fee for this service that runs anywhere from $1.00 to $5.00 per administration. Please see your nearest location for fee specifics.

Q: If my dog does not participate in any activities like Personalized Playtime or DayCamp, how often will my dog be taken out?

A: Pets who board in our deluxe accomodations are taken out 3-4 times per day for potty breaks.

Q: How many times are the pets fed each day?

A: Pets are fed as requested by the pet parent. One feeding per day is included with the room rate. Additional feedings can be scheduled for a fee of $1.25.

Q: What kind of extra treats are available during my pet's stay at Kennelwood?

A: Yappy Hour is ice cream and cookies specially designed for dogs. Bizzy Bone is our secret recipe inside a rubber hollow toy. The secret treat is mashed potatoes and gravy. Both treats are served to your pet in his or her room. Be sure to ask about our special Bizzy Bundles, which combine the delicious treats with activities for the pets.

Q: What kind of supervision is there during the evening hours at Kennelwood?

A: Our facilities are staffed 24 hours per day.

Q: Can I have my pet groomed while boarding at Kennelwood?

A: Yes. Grooming is always available. If you are unable to pick up your pet by check out time, adding a last day at the spa is a great way to save hotel charges on that last day.

Q: If I have more than one pet, can they stay together?

A: Yes. Our deluxe rooms are designed to accommodate multi pet families and the largest of breeds.
