CHIEF is a very handsome big dog who looks mostly Chocolate Lab, but his white chest and toes tells us that he is possibly a mixed breed. He is a little thin at 70lbs and 2 years old. He was recently rescued from the St. Louis City Pound where he spent the last two months in a cage. Now that he is in a foster home, he is making up for lost time having lots of fun. Chief gets along with other dogs and kids, but we don't know about cats. Chief is housetrained and crate trained! He has been vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm tested and is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped before he goes to his forever home.

Champ is very active and loves everyone! He is kennel trained and requires a lot of exercise. Champ is still learning manners, but is coming along. He is current on vaccinations, Heart Worm negative, and on Heartworm and flea preventative.

Luna is a beautiful female Akita who loves to play! We are working on housetraining. Luna really enjoys quiet time in her crate. She lives with other dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone, although she can play too rough for small dogs. At only 50 lbs, she is slightly underweight and should gain another 10-15 lbs. Luna is very loving and lives to give everyone kisses, especially the veterinarian!

Bowser is about as sweet and docile as they come. He is a 3 year old Rottweiler mix. His owner was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease and is no longer able to care for him. Bowser does well in a crate and can be left out without any problems. He is just an all around great dog. Bowser is looking for a home that will give him the attention and love that he deserves. He loves people and does well with other dogs.

Watson was born in Aug 2007, weighs 47 lbs, and is a very sweet Border collie/retriever Mix. He was rescued off of the streets of East St. Louis. He is a shy guy with strangers, but once he warms up, you have a friend for life. Watson is one of the good shy dogs. There is no aggression behind his shyness. Watson's foster mom loves to have him in her home. He is one of the easiest dogs she has taken care of. Watson is crate trained, great with kids and with other dogs. What a beautiful boy! We love him!

Vic is an Australian Cattle Dog. He is very friendly and playful but would play too rough for small children. He is current on shots, tested for Heartworm and on a preventative, altered, and has a flea preventative applied.
