MISSING PET LIST!
Pet parents, have you lost a pet? Kennelwood would like to educate and equip pet parents with the tips and tools to find your lost pet. If you have not lost a pet please take note of the information provided on this site so that you can be prepared if one day your pet goes missing.

STEPS TO FINDING YOUR MISSING PET

1. REACT QUICKLY and ITEMS TO BRING FOR YOUR SEARCH
Begin your search as quickly as possible to the time you realize your pet is missing. Be sure when you begin your search that you bring the following items with you: flashlight, leash, and cell phone. Remember it is very important to make safe decisions during your search to ensure your own safety.

2. SEARCH YOUR HOUSE AND BACKYARD CAREFULLY
Make sure that your pet is not hiding under the steps or under a bed. Check your house and yard thoroughly prior to beginning your search elsewhere. Also take note of any escape routes your pet might have taken and possibly begin your search there. For example, if your pet escaped through digging a hole under fence into the alley, that is where you might want to begin your search.

3. WALK YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Walk your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods calling your pet’s name. If you are a multi-pet family bring one of your other pets with you. As you search on foot, make noises that your pet is familiar with: shaking his food bowl, kissy sounds, whistle, and any other sounds that might be familiar. You may also bring his favorite toy and squeak or bounce the toy so he can hear or see it. Enlist as many members of your family as possible to help you in your search.

4. CREATE YOUR MISSING PET FLYER
