Raised in a small Eastern Iowa farming community and having lived in St. Louis since 1996, Ruedi Waltert joined Kennelwood Pet Resorts in 2009.
A pet lover who has created a home environment where two dogs, three cats and a rabbit all live a peacable coexistence, Ruedi truly enjoys having the opportunity to bring his dogs to Kennelwood each day because they get to meet so many amazing Pet Parents who all love pets.
The experience working at Kennelwood has taught Ruedi that the environment is one built on trust, commitment, and loving care — the essentials that Pet Parents demonstrate for their animals. And for him, there is nothing more rewarding than successfully providing that culture at work each day while he cares for the pets that are trusted under his leadership.
