In addition to our free Mimi Alert program – reconnecting owners with lost pets — Kennelwood is actively involved with Dirk’s Fund and the Humane Society of Missouri. Here’s a bit more about our longstanding commitment to these wonderful organizations:
Dirk’s Fund: Kennelwood Pet Resorts provides free boarding to the dogs of Dirk’s Fund – which has rescued Golden Retrievers for more than 10 years. Learn more about Dirk’s Fund HERE or call us for more information.
Humane Society of Missouri: Not all pets are as lucky as some, which is why Kennelwood partners with the Humane Society to help parentless pets. Now when getting your pet groomed at Grooming by Kennelwood inside of the Humane Society of Missouri on Macklind a portion of the proceeds go to help the homeless animals. Kennelwood has worked with the HSMO for a number of years, giving away free grooming and thousands of bones (pet speak for dollars) in donations. Kennelwood also housed dogs during the Missouri floods to help free space at the Humane Society that was in danger of flooding. Two paws way up.
