Baby Steps: Introducing Your Dog to Your Newborn
To help expectant parents get their pet ready for the new baby. This is not a dog training class. It will include lecture, discussion, and information necessary to familiarize your pet with the new baby. The course content will help you identify problems before they occur and will give you guidance for making changes that will keep the entire family safe and happy. Price is per household; seating is limited. No pets are allowed in this class.
Puppy Training Classes
A five (5) week course for puppies between 9 and 20 weeks of age. This class teaches owners how to communicate with their puppies and to teach household commands in a positive manner. Puppies learn to enjoy new skills and to be comfortable around other dogs and people. Owners learn management skills make life
with a new puppy enjoyable. Problems can be avoided by teaching
the right behavior and habits in the early weeks and months of a puppy's life.
Beginner Classes
A six (6) week course for dogs over 5 months old. For older puppies, adult dogs and their owners, this course is designed to make the basic commands of 'sit,' 'down,' 'stay,' and 'come a part of every day living. Students learn to respond to commands even with other dogs present. Each class session offers the opportunity to discuss problems, as well as progress, with homework assignments.
Novice Training Classes
Novice Class meets one hour for eight (8) weeks and is for dogs that have completed a Beginner class. In the Novice Class exercises taught in the Beginner Class will be perfected. Longer sits, downs and stays are added with more distractions, along with more precise heeling and attention work. The start of off-leash training also begins. This class also teaches the groundwork for obedience competition, and all of the exercises needed to complete the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class.

Rally Training Classes
Meets one hour a week for eight (8) weeks. This class is for dogs that have completed the Beginner class and are competing in the new and fun sport of Rally. Please call 314-446-1025 for more information before enrolling in this class.

Open/Utility Training Classes
Meets one hour a week for eight (8) weeks. This class is for dogs that have completed the Novice class and are competing in obedience trials and working toward completing their titles. Please call 314-446-1025 for more information before enrolling in this class.
Canine Good Citizen Evaluation
The Canine Good Citizen Evaluation is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic manners for dogs. All dogs must be current on vaccinations, including Rabies.
