April 10, 2009- (St. Louis, MO) –One of Kennelwood’s many missions is to give a helping paw to rescue organizations throughout the St. Louis area. As many have heard, in the last couple of months the Humane Society of Missouri has rescued nearly 800 dogs and puppies. Kennelwood is reaching out to the Humane Society of Missouri collecting blankets, towels, and shredded paper for the newly rescued animals. All six Kennelwood locations are collecting items and all have received an overwhelming response. This drive is a group effort between Kennelwood employees and clients to help the Humane Society keep their new guests comfortable and happy.
Kennelwood’s drive for the Humane Society will end on April 15th. Kennelwood will then collect all items to make a very special delivery in the Kennelwood Bow Wow Bus to the Humane Society of Missouri shortly after.
