February 27 ( 2009) Kennelwood Pet Resorts Personal Trainer, Sarah Parlow has been hired by the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis to conduct the stage training for something very unique to the theater, a four legged actor. As one can imagine training a four legged friend is no small undertaking.
Parlow has been working with Murray, a three year old Golden Retriever for nearly three months to prepare him for his on stage debut during the Repertory Theatre’s production of “The Miracle Worker.”
Training a dog for any production is no small task. Sarah has worked diligently to achieve success with Murray for "The Miracle Worker." Sarah explains her experience working with Murray and the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. "This experience has been a fun and rewarding one. I have really enjoyed watching Murray grow and learn. He is now able to do things on his own as the training progressed. Also this experience has been a learning experience for me. There is never a dull moment with Murray and he always keeps me on my toes."
Kennelwood is very proud of Sarah and her work she has done with Murray for the production of "The Miracle Worker."
