February 5, 2008 (St. Louis, MO) – The political pundits and casual critics may continue to make their predictions, but Kennelwood Pet Resorts hosted our own one-of-a-kind primary election this year. Both RePUGlicans and DemoCATs had the opportunity to cast their vote for their favorite candidate at the Kennelwood polls on February 5, and the winners have been declared.
With separate voting booths (or bowls!), all pets were allowed to make an impartial and educated decision on one of four candidates: John McCanine, Mutt Romney, Bark Obama, or Cattery Clinton. Under the watchful eyes of Kennelwood staff, the voting was fair and orderly, true democracy at work. All pets were required to show proper i.d. (tags, that is!) prior to voting to keep the results untainted. The lines were steady all morning and long at times, but everyone waited patiently for their chance to voice (or bark!) their opinion. Many pets cast their vote and here are the final, official results.
