Kennelwood Pet Resorts is proud to serve as the premier pet resort sponsor of the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride and Siteman Cancer Center Celebrate Spot event. We are committed to supporting the community through participation in various charitable events.

The MS Bike Ride occurred during the weekend of September 8-9. As the event’s pet hotel sponsor, Kennelwood provided a coupon to all participants, which was valid during the weekend of the bike ride. In addition, we collected money internally and at each of our six Kennelwood locations. Our Bow Wow Buses, also known as “Big Al” vans served as SAG (support and gear) vehicles for the ride. The recognized golden retriever-topped vans were hard to miss in the crowd!

"The Big Al vans not only provided a great service for our event, but they also provided some added fun," said Paula Eichholz, Director of Development for the Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. "It was fun to see the smiles on people's faces when they saw the van on our route as one of the SAG vehicles. Kennelwood's commitment to the community shined through and because of support from sponsors like them, we are able to provide programs and services to those in our area living with MS."

On Sunday, October 7, Kennelwood will be serving as the official pet hotel sponsor of the Celebrate Spot Siteman Cancer Center event. This dog walk in Forest Park is to benefit the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Program at Siteman Cancer Center. We will be providing a Celebrate Spot Lounge complete with Frosty Paws® ice cream for any furry friends, human ice cream, training demonstrations, dog brushing and Siteman Cancer Center bandanas. The renowned “Big Al” vans will also be present.

“As Kennelwood’s Brand Development Coordinator, my focus is on strengthening Kennelwood Pet Resorts presence and involvement in the community. I look forward to creating many strong lifelong partnerships with various organizations and causes in the St. Louis area,” said Sarah Drew.
