The River City Rascals Professional Baseball Club is pleased to announce the newest addition to their team for the 2007 season. Kennelwood Village® has partnered up with the Rascals to become the presenting sponsor of a new fixture at the ballpark, a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy. This new puppy is being extensively trained by Kennelwood to eventually have a starring role every night during games. The canine entertainer will be involved with players and umpires nightly as well as trotting around the bases after victories. The Rascals were happy to receive the puppy through their donation to the Boys & Girls Club at their annual "Crystal Ball" in early February. According to Rascals
President / Owner Steve Malliet, "fans should expect big things from this little puppy. She will bring an element of fun to the ballpark that you and your family will have to see to believe." Her name is Bailey and she is adorable!
