We provide a wide array of services to be sure that your pet enjoys their time at Kennelwood. Our Dog Training Department is committed to exceeding your training expectations! We will work with you to choose a dog training option that would be the best fit for your specific training goals. Training a dog can be easy when you use Kennelwood Pet Resorts for all of your training needs!

Our different training methods include Board ‘n Train, Custom Private Lessons, Group Classes and Day Training. A free evaluation with one of our Personal Trainers can help you determine which option would be best for your pet. Let our trainers come to you! With Custom Private Lessons, one of our Personal Trainers will come to your home and help you deal with any behavioral problems you are encountering with your pet. Kennelwood can also make housebreaking easy! Our Pet Nanny can come to your home and help you with the housebreaking process. When your pet understands what is expected, house training no longer is an unpleasant experience. Proper communication is the key to training a dog.

Day Training and Board ‘n Train will teach the basic behaviors of come when called, sit, down, stay and controlled walking. Your Personal Trainer can also work on modifying any negative behaviors your pet may be demonstrating at home. Your dog stays with us in our first-class pet hotel during Board ‘n Train. You drop your pet off in morning and pick them up the same night with Day Training. In both options, one of our Personal Trainers works with your dog during the day. Remember, a well-behaved pet is a happy, healthy pet!
