Pet Grooming

If you would like to virtually eliminate pet hair in your home, you definitely want to try one of Kennelwood’s trademarked SHED-X® Treatments. During this treatment, we remove dead hair and dander from your pet at our state-of-the-art pet grooming facility. This hair and dander would have been shed in your home over the coming weeks. SHED-X® Treatments do not stop the natural shedding process, nor is this treatment a one-time cure. These treatments are most effective when pets are kept on a regular maintenance schedule. SHED-X® treatments result in a cleaner, healthier skin and coat for your pet. In addition, benefits include: a fresher, cleaner smelling pet and a cleaner home with less vacuuming. SHED-X® Treatments also remove hair and dander, a major source of irritation for allergy sufferers.

In addition to regular SHED-X® Treatments, SHED-X® Mini-Treatments should be scheduled between full treatments to reduce the shedding process even more. Frequency of treatments is based upon factors such as your pet’s coat type, shedding cycle and your own personal tolerance for pet hair in the home. While at Kennelwood Pet ResortsSM for a SHED-X® Treatment and/or pet grooming service, your pet can participate in additional activities. If they are spending the day with us, enroll your dog in Doggie DayCamp! Your dog will get to play with friends and then visit the grooming spa, so he comes home fresh and clean for mom and dad. Also, don’t forget about the treats! Your pet would love to have Yappy Hour or a Bizzy Bone while visiting with us. You could also sign them up for Personalized PlayTime, where they will have special, one-on-one playtime with one of our pet activities counselors.
